The 17- day Camino Primitivo Experience

We continue with guided walking for 14 days on the Camino Primitivo. It is regarded as the original Camino after King Alfonso the 2nd became the first pilgrim to walk from Oviedo to the remains of St James the Apostle, in Santiago de Compostela. Walk solo or with support, and have your luggage transferred ahead to your accommodation.

 

While we encourage the daily kilometres to be walked (roughly 10-24km) as part of this transformational retreat, you are the ultimate decider of how much walking you do. Rest days and shorter days where possible will be completely supported. 

 

A packing list and training guidelines will be provided for fitness.

 

Enjoy nourishing connection at the end of each day with your fellow travellers over dinner, or take time out alone.

 

Backpack/ luggage transfer (15kg maximum) to accommodations each day is offered which means you only need to carry a daypack while walking.

 

Expect a mix of twin share rooms in guesthouses, pensions, hotels, a castle retreat, a monastery and traditional pilgrim Albergue accommodation in bunkbeds.

 

Daily breakfast is included. Most times a full breakfast and sometimes a continental breakfast.
